Businessmen and municipalities create "Digital TGV of the Interior"

Six business associations from Serra da Lousã, with the support of the municipalities of Castanheira de Pera, Figueiró dos Vinhos, Góis, Lousã, Miranda do Corvo, Pedrógão Grande, Penela and Vila Nova de Poiares, joined forces to create the VIP360 platform, an instrument that Carlos Alves, president of the Serra da Lousã Business Association, described as “the digital TGV for the interior”.
“The interior is setting an example,” the businessman stressed, explaining that, through VIP360, in just a few seconds, any user can travel across the entire territory and virtually explore tourist destinations, cultural heritage, local businesses and other experiences.
The platform was presented this afternoon in Lousã, in a ceremony attended by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Pedro Machado, who praised the partnership between the various municipalities, contributing to a more competitive and valuable territory.
This is the first phase of the project with the launch of 200 tourist attractions, followed in the next phase by the introduction of 500 companies and, later, data updates and new companies.
